Purpose:

  • To recognize and reward individuals acknowledged as outstanding leaders by their peers within the Ontario energy industry.
  • To highlight the achievements of the Ontario energy industry by recognizing outstanding companies.
  • To celebrate and publicly profile the industry’s successes and to recognize achievement and innovation.

 

Award Categories & Eligibility:

 

  • OEA LEADER OF THE YEAR: Any employee of an OEA member company
  • OEA LARGE COMPANY OF THE YEAR: Any OEA member company with more than 100 employees
  • OEA SMALL COMPANY OF THE YEAR: Any OEA member company with 100 or fewer employees

    Nomination Process:

    To ensure nominations are judged on a comparable basis, all submissions MUST include the following information, in the following order:

    1. Award category for the nomination
    2. Name, title, company and contact information for OEA LEADER OF THE YEAR nominees OR name of company and President and CEO and contact information for OEA LARGE COMPANY OF THE YEAR and OEA SMALL COMPANY OF THE YEAR nominee
    3. Name, title, company and contact information of the individual submitting nomination
    4. Signature of the individual submitting nomination and date of submission
    5. Executive Summary (maximum 1 page) Highlighting the reasons why the nominee should be selected for an award
    6. Detailed Rationale (maximum 5 pages) Referring directly and specifically to the selection criteria outlined above in this document, and showing that the achievements occurred over the past year
    7. Relevant Supporting Documentation (e.g. CV for OEA LEADER OF THE YEAR nominees or annual report)

     

     

    Deadline for Nomination Submissions: FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2012 at 5:00 p.m.

    Recipients will be announced at the OEA Annual Conference Awards Dinner, OCTOBER 17, 2012 at the Scotiabank Convention Centre, Niagara Falls.
    Nominees are encouraged to attend the Dinner or arrange to have a representative attend on their behalf.
